June 18, Snowshoe Foundation Golf Tournament Come hit the links for a great cause during the annual Snowshoe Foundation Golf Tournament. Jeep Jamboree is a full two-day, family oriented four-wheel-drive adventure that's probably unlike anything you've ever experienced. Jeep Jamboree caters to every level of expertise so there is fun for everyone from novice to veteran and everyone in between. Here at Snowshoe, perched nearly a mile high in the Alleghenies, Snowshoe Mountain Resort is home to 11,000 acres of pristine woodlands with trail ratings from 3-9 and breathtaking vistas throughout the challenging off-road trails. A stop for lunch at a fire-tower lookout is your opportunity to take home your own postcard picture. Steep downhill trails and boulders along with some mud make for a great time. Any Jeep vehicle with a 4-LO transfer case can participate that includes everything from showroom stock all the way up to highly modified rigs. Experienced guides help navigate you through scenic switchbacks and some of the most challenging off-highway situations you never thought your Jeep vehicle was capable of handling. And, perhaps best of all, you'll be meeting and making new friends along the way! |

July 9-10 Fire on the Mountain Chili Cook-Off The 19th Annual Fire on the Mountain Chili Cook off at Snowshoe Mountain is preparing for a hot and wild weekend! The cook off is sanctioned by The International Chili Society (ICS), a non-profit organization that sanctions chili cook offs with judging and cooking rules and regulations. We will be bringing cooks from all over to show off their cooking abilities. With over a 100 chili cooks and $10,000 in cash & prizes the competition will be heating up. |
